Interstate 40 east to U.S. 1 South to N.C. 2 exit. Turn right. Go 1/4 mile to Pine Needles on the right or Mid Pines on the left. Take I-26 West to I-95 North to South of the Border. At South of the Border, take 501 North through Laurinburg. Follow 501 North to US 1 North. Follow US 1 North to the Midland Road exit. At the bottom of the exit ramp turn left. Go 1/4 mile to Pine Needles on the right or Mid Pines on the left. Take I-20 East to Camden. Take the US North exit. Follow US 1 North to the Midland Road exit. At the bottom of the exit ramp turn left. Go 1/4 mile to pine Needles on the right or Mid Pines on the left. Take I-85 North to Charlotte, NC. In Charlotte take Highway 74 East to Rockingham, NC. In Rockingham, take US 1 North. Follow US 1 North to the Midland Road exit. At the bottom of the exit ramp turn left. Go 1/4 mile to Pine Needles on the right or Mid Pines on the left. Take I-76 West for 54 miles. Follow to sign reading I-74 West to Lumberton and go northwest for 52 miles. Bear right on ramp at sign reading US-15/US-401/US-501 N to Fayetteville/Bennettsville. Turn left on US-15-BYP, US-401, US-501 and go north for 2.9 miles. Turn right on ramp at sign reading US 15-501 and go east. Turn left on US 15/501 and go north for 23 miles. Turn right on US-1 and go north. Take Midland Road Exit Route 2. At bottom of ramp, turn left. Go 1/4 mile to Pine Needles on the right or Mid Pines on the left. Mid Pines Inn and Golf Course is located in Southern Pines in southeastern North Carolina, just off Highway 2. Southern Pines is one of several turn-of-the-century villages in the Sandhills region that boasts an array of boutiques, antique shops, museums, gardens and a rich Scottish heritage - not to mention 42 golf courses.
